Hey everyone! First of all, apologies for lack of updates last week. In a misguided attempt to boost workplace morale at the PNKSLM office, we sent Axel to Istanbul, where he is currently receiving a two-for-one special deal on a hair transplant and “BBL”. Whilst I’m sure the results will be joyous once he recovers, one major yet unexpected side effect is that I’ve unfortunately been left with a mountain of actual real work that needed to be done in his absence. Hence me also being forced to write this after 22.00, sober on a Friday night. Let’s power through this so I can get on with my god damn life.
VEGAS WATER TAXI’S ALBUM IS A SMASH HIT!
Ben Hambro’s latest project vegas water taxi released their brilliant second full-length LP last Friday, “long time caller, first time listener”. If you like your indie country music dosed in tongue in cheek lyrics about the pitfalls of modern culture, this one’s for you, so far best described by Limited Edition Records on instagram as “The Larry David of the London Overground” - and also praised by the likes of Rolling Stone UK, Dork Magazine, and Farout Magazine. The album is out right now, available from your local record dealer, and the PNKSLM Store.
THE LIST IS OUT!!
As I’m sure many of you have seen on social media recently, the global news cycle has been dominated by a certain list that’s just been released. And we’re very proud to share that our very own Clutter are officially part of The NME 100 of 2026!
In the words of NME themselves:
The NME 100 is NME’s annual list of emerging artists from around the globe with the potential to shape the future of music. The likes of Billie Eilish, Fontaines D.C., Dua Lipa, Arlo Parks, Amyl and the Sniffers, CMAT, Wet Leg, Yungblud and Fred Again.. have featured on the NME 100 since its first edition in 2017.
Whilst I must admit that seeing one of our bands being referenced alongside Yungblood instantly set off my gag reflex, it’s a huge honour to have Clutter on this, so thanks to everyone whose helped us get the band off to such an amazing start. They’ve just started recording the debut album, more on that coming very soon.

ANOTHER BIG RELEASE NEXT WEEK!
The huge records don’t stop coming, and next week we’re celebrating the arrival of Hemi Hemingway’s brand new LP, “Wings Of Desire”. God damn it’s great. He’s also just announced live appearances at both SXSW and The Great Escape - with more UK/EU dates being announced very soon. Make sure to pre-order the limited edition vinyl over here…
